David Ben Foster holds an MA from Ashland University. He is an award-winning author and continues writing today. He lives in Ohio with his wife, Catherine, children, and grandchildren. He is a genealogist and traces his lineage to John Alden who came to America on the Mayflower in 1620.

He began publishing in 1990 with A View of Ourselves. In 2017, The Epic of Job, Warrior Priest received a Pulitzer nomination. In 2019, the novel The Ultimate Humanist was published. He has been a freelance writer and teacher. He has published five other books and continues to write.
